YACHTING products come with a 10-year warranty regarding the finish of its paint system.

GASCOGNE WOOD PRODUCTS undertakes to provide the quality of paint and labour required in order to touch up any parts where faults or deficiencies in the finish are observed by GASCOGNE WOOD PRODUCTS and the warranty holder. The warranty covers any visual defect reported before the product is fitted and any hidden defect that causes abnormal variations in the panelling product, as reported to GASCOGNE WOOD PRODUCTS by the beneficiary throughout the term of the warranty.

The warranty applies only if the product is used appropriately, with the recommended maintenance and cleaning methods. Fitting methods must make use of our finishing accessories and follow our recommendations along with the locally applicable standards.

The warranty excludes any damage or deterioration to the paint film finish caused by anything other than the normal, natural and known action of the weather and daylight. In particular, any damage caused by contact with harmful chemicals, gases, steam, fumes or other pollutants are excluded. The panelling must be fitted such as to ensure no standing water or water infiltration bytrickle-through or micro-cavities in any part of the fitted panels. In particular, when a vertical panelling design is used, the tongue should always be fitted facing the prevailing winds. The normal changes in external colour finish of the panelling are excluded from the warranty, namely natural fading due to UV exposure and the movement of resin within the wood. Any damage related to the failure to properly comply with maintenance or cleaning advice related to the nature of the wood, its defects and dimensional variations are also excluded from the warranty.
